Dance Like An Egyptian Intensive Week 2023 schedule is packed with amazing activities, and lots of amazing new experiences are awaiting. 

This week will be as rich as you can possibly imagine!
What to expect to experience with us and what is included:

8 days / 7nights in a 5 stars hotel

DLAE Intensive week will cover most topics relating to Oriental Dance; Technique, Choreography, Musicality, Expressions, Theory, lectures, and more. Some of the workshops will have live musicians joining us.

In this Intensive week, we will learn, dance, perform, compete, party, make new friends, and will have lots of fun together all under one roof in Cairo in the shadows of the Pyramids.

Please send us your flight information in order for our tourist agency to pick you up from the Cairo International Airport and transfer you to our hotel Early Arrival or late stay is Optional with an additional charge available.

Golden Era Style; Dandash will focus on technique and combinations using Oriental original steps from Naima Akif, Samia Gamal, and Nabawia Mostafa, as well as explaining each style of them, with Dandash’s very special amazing technique.

DAY OUT
A trip to the desert, all about having lots and lots of fun, facing the Pyramids of
Giza, Folklore Show, and Bedouin Style dinner are included. Dance, have fun,
ride a horse, and more, a day you will never forget! The day will be over by 7 pm

In this Workshop Mohamed will focus on Technique drills & short combinations, to various of oriental rhythms that we often meet in oriental music, explaining technique details and understanding the interpretation of each rhythm.
EVENING OFF

Awalem Style/Shaamedan; Khaled will be working on Technique, theory, and short Choreography with Saggat! Combine with live musicians.

Melaya Leff; Old Cairo Baladi/Melaya Alexandria Styles. Technique, Combinations, and Theory, Hoda will also explain the difference between Old Cairo and Alexandria Melaya styles.


Cabaret Night Out;
Leaving by 8:00 pm Cabaret night with Aziza, let’s have fun, dance, and watch Aziza, singers, and other bellydancers performing for us at the Cairo night scene (optional and additional cost)

Refund and cancelation policy:

Refund and cancelation policy:

Refund requests placed on or before August 1st will receive a full refund, 5% less for credit card and or processing fees.
Refund requests placed on or before October 1st will receive 50% of all monies paid.
No refund after October 1st, 2021.
In case of medical or other emergencies, Participants can transfer their admission to another dancer, however, DLAE management must handle this process in order for it to be valid. Contact us: [email protected]

Disclaimer:

Dance Like An Egyptian Intensive Week, is not responsible for injury; sickness; lost or stolen items; missed flights; objectionable or obscene behaviour by locals, other members of the intensive week; death and other acts of God.

Force Majeure:

Any delay or failure in the performance by DLAE management hereunder shall be excused if and to the extent caused by the occurrence of a Force Majeure. For purposes of this Agreement, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise caused by or under the control of the Party claiming Force Majeure, including but not limited to; acts of God, fires, floods, explosions, riots, wars, hurricane, sabotage terrorism, vandalism. accident, restraint of government, governmental acts, injunctions, labor strikes, obtaining visas for Master Instructors or sickness of said instructors other than those, and other like events that are beyond the reasonable anticipation and control of the Party affected thereby, despite such Party’s reasonable efforts to prevent, avoid, delay, or mitigate the effect of such acts, events or occurrences, and which events or the effects thereof are not attributable to a Party’s failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement.
